With diverse expertise and a deep commitment to education, our leadership team guides the Foundation’s strategy and impact, ensuring that every project we undertake helps empower communities and open doors to opportunity for future generations.
Founder & Executive Director
Saray is an award-winning mountaineer, the first black African woman to summit Everest, complete the Seven Summits challenge and ski to the South Pole. She continues to push boundaries, both professionally and in mountaineering as she demonstrates her commitment to making a difference in her environment through adventure.
She is an executive coach with over 25 years of experience in leading South African blue-chip companies, which have been driving innovation and continue to change the financial and wellness industries globally. She is also an advocate for human development, and education and supports a wide variety of charitable and developmental organisations.
Saray is a philanthropist who has demonstrated her commitment to making a difference in her environment by raising funds and leveraging her mostly self-funded climbs to build 16 libraries in South Africa and now working on expanding into the rest of the continent.

Director
Ditebogo has worked in the financial services industry for almost a decade, gaining experience in strategy formulation and implementation; revenue and expense optimisation; risk management; effective financial management and implementation of sound internal controls.
As a driven finance executive, she is passionate about driving business financial performance and results by providing forward-looking insights and optimising business performance by implementing value-creating and cost-saving business practices.
Ditebogo is a registered Chartered Accountant and holds a BCom Honours degree in accounting from the University of Johannesburg.
She has previously worked as a finance professional at Deloitte & Touche, Nedbank, Discovery, was the Chief Financial & Risk Officer at MMI Multiply, acted as the interim CEO of SAMRA and now is the CFO at DSTV
While heading up finance and risk functions is her “day job”, Ditebogo also enjoys dedicating her time and skills to various NGO’s that equip people and communities with values that help shape their life skills to enable them to become engaged and contributing members of our society.
