Changing the narrative for the next generation

Educate | Empower | Lead

Summits With A Purpose Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 by Saray N’kusi Khumalo who is the First black African woman to summit Everest and skii to the South Pole. She has used her expeditions since 2012 to raise over R1.5 million for different African causes that focusses on education.

The Foundation is a Public Benefit Organization that focuses on creating social change amongst the African youths through education, empowerment and leadership. Through our Corporate Investment Fund, we partner with organizations that inspire the youth of Africa to pursue their dreams and summit their everyday peaks in education, sports, entrepreneurship and leadership.

Summits With A Purpose seeks and builds relationship with individuals and NGOs who are making a difference in their communities. The identified parties are connected with corporates and well-wishers in an effort to deepen their positive impact.

“Together, we can go all the way to the top of the world”

The foundation is underpinned by the spirit of Ubuntu as a tool to level the playing field for the next generation of Africans.  Education is an equalizer with the ability to change the narrative for the next generation.
